SAReads 2016 Impact Report Now Available

We're excited to announce our latest Impact Report, which includes SAReads Book Bank and Literacy Academy outcomes for academic year 2015-16.

Student reading outcomes are evaluated using data provided by the school district. SAReads uses the same standards used by school administrators and the State of Texas to monitor student progress year-over-year.

In addition to the robust collection and analysis of student reading data, SAReads reports family engagement participation, stakeholder feedback and service hours. Visuzlied below, is a brief recap of preservice teachers, students, parents and organizations served in academic year 2015-16:

Special Thanks to the SAReads Coalition

With help from the SAReads Coalition, we have been solving the puzzle of teaching children to read since 2010. The SAReads Coalition includes over 25 national organizations and investors. Literacy San Antonio, Inc. provides backbone support for the organizations that participate in SAReads by communicating and coordinating actions as well as collecting and measuring results.

Impact reports covering four academic years are available for download. Please subscribe to our quarterly newsletter for more frequent updates of program results and happenings.
