SAReads Literacy Campus

SAReads improves reading outcomes by implementing researched-based instruction in the classroom during the years children are learning to read (i.e., from Kindergarten through 2nd grade).

Reading results demonstrate reading success is possible for all children through science-based reading instruction (SBRI). Reading outcomes dramatically improved and stabilized throughout the school year after SBRI was embedded in core instruction during a pilot project. This project will continue over multiple years and will include eleven campuses starting Fall 2018.

Sixteen teachers impacted 352 kindergarten through 2nd grade students in one year. Thousands of children will be impacted as SAReads expands to more campuses and as teachers teach countless students to read over the course of their careers.
